Our show started with three women who shared a common passion for creating beautiful Christmas crafts and a desire to sell them in their own city, rather than having to travel to other towns and cities. These women were committed to bringing a local, festive shopping experience to the community. One of the founding members, Dianne Waugh, took on the responsibility of running the show for 39 years. During that time, Dianne focused solely on organizing the event, never once selling her own crafts.

In 2020, Dianne’s daughter-in-law, Michelle Waugh, took over the leadership role, stepping in as the new organizer of the event. This transition coincided with the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced many events, including ours, to pause from 2020-2021,

2022 marked the return of the show, and it was a fresh start under Michelle's leadership.  Michelle took the reins and worked tirelessly to ensure that the event would not only return, but also grow. As the convener, Michelle's plans for the future include expanding the scope of what the show offers. She is focused on bringing in new vendors, providing more diverse products, and creating an even more enjoyable experience for the community.

Each year, the show remains a highlight for both vendors and attendees. With so much to see, explore, and enjoy, it’s always a fantastic day out. The event provides a unique opportunity to support artisans from across Central and Southern Ontario, where you’ll discover one-of-a-kind crafts and products. All of this is set in a warm, festive atmosphere. Under Michelle’s leadership, the future of the show looks promising, with plans to further strengthen its legacy of uniting people and supporting local creativity.
